Gratitude Day #18
I am grateful for sunny days filled with freedom and free choice.
Today I took my mum to an eye appointment and although I promised myself my gratitude wasn’t going to be self-centred, I have spent the majority of the day thinking about our senses and how precious gifts like this are.
Gratitude Day #17
I am grateful for all five senses.
Especially sight.
I had an eye operation many years ago and realised then what I take for granted now.
Let me not forget how wonderful this world is. Or how much my eyes open up this world to me as a writer, people watching, images, inspiring flashes that pass others by.
We see the parts of the world other’s don’t see.
We hear – taste – touch – and smell with our eyes.
They are, after all, windows into our souls.
Gratitude #9
Today I am grateful for the energy to pack boxes.
Always forgive yourself, particularly if you suffer from illnesses that force energy levels to be low. Hope that there is another day and hit the TO DO LIST then, allow your body and mind time to rest and recoup. When your body forces a shut down, you know you have overdone it! Forgive yourself. Allow nature to take command.
