I have the 3rd class tomorrow in the City – Writing for Children, as part of a homework assignment we had to work on our manuscripts. Focus: on language.
I had no manuscript, my children’s writing stretches as far as a page of ideas and some notes from training I had at Writing School 16 years ago!
I chose the 2nd homework – using our notes from the last meeting to write something. My something (scenes were suggested) became the skeleton of a story and then a full manuscript. Now in it’s 3rd Draft.
Watch this space I may have discovered a new for me genre.
(I’ve already chosen my pen name!)
