- I found the WordPress Blog today – I have been looking everywhere to learn how to categorise my posts. Still it was a happy find, perfect for me to add more word count and hopefully something you can respond to.

Daily Prompt: This Is Your Life
by michelle w. on January 11, 2013If you could read a book containing all that has happened and will ever happen in your life, would you? If you choose to read it, you must read it cover to cover.
———————————————————————————————–
I was so tempted until I got to the end of the sentence! For me, this prompt is easily answered – NO, no I wouldn’t. I won’t even have Tarot Cards read because I don’t want to know the future. I’m sure if it wasn’t good we might think we would do our best to change that. Would you really have the strength? I think I’d get messed up mentally if I knew even what next week involved. I wouldn’t have believed in last week had I been told but because I wanted it – I like to think I made part of it happen. I believe in destiny, I have also been stuck for years on one spot because I took no action.
In 2 weeks I have started a blog, submitted writing, blown the dust off my manuscript and bought my 2nd property! If I had read that I would have been convinced it was a work of fiction!
I’d love to read the early years, the parts I cannot recall, the patchy memories pieced together over sepia photographs of childhood. I remember hating having no sister and now thinking back it felt great to have two brothers. Unsettled though youth was, it was safe, the next couple of decades have been a challenge – if I was reading the book I’d need plenty of Kleenex for the 1st part.
I like reading other people’s lives, but I think I’m best off just living mine!

Exceedingly grateful for the technical help! When I am back at the desk I will have another look, I probably should have waited until the morning though, @ 5a.m I’m not sure what I just did. Bleary eyed writer thanks you again!
Thanks for helping me with the categories, it’s hard to master on a smartphone. Hoping I can get to show your post now!
I’m with you, no way! I’d be spending all my time reading about my life instead of actually living it, and where’s the fun in that? 😛
I would generally be too scared… I like the idea of somebody else reading it..
there are a million other books to read!
